About

I'm Adithyan Ilangovan. Most people call me Adi. I'm an engineer, founder, and builder based in Berlin.

I've spent the last 10+ years building customer-facing systems across media, video, and AI. Before starting my own company, I worked on streaming and infrastructure problems at places like Bitmovin and Paramount. I like real systems, clean mental models, and understanding how things actually work.

Right now I'm building AI Podcasting , a bootstrapped company I started to help podcasters use AI in ways that are actually useful. Building it taught me a lot the hard way. Distribution matters. Pricing matters. Protecting your time matters. Shipping teaches faster than theorizing.

But that's only part of what I'm interested in now.

The thing I keep coming back to is how AI-native tools change the shape of work itself. I'm especially interested in agents, Codex, personal AI systems, and software that feels more like a collaborator than a static interface.

This blog is where I work through those ideas in public. Some posts are technical explainers. Some are proof-of-work. Some are reflections from building. In general, I write when I'm trying to understand something properly, or when I think a hard-won lesson might be useful to someone else.

I care about building real things, understanding them properly, and sharing what holds up after contact with reality.

If you're looking for my background, my CV is here.

If any of that overlaps with what you're building or thinking about, feel free to reach out by email or find me on Twitter, LinkedIn, or GitHub.
